- Hosting and infrastructure providers for the application (including servers that may be located outside Australia)
- Social platforms you choose to connect (for example Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and others)

- AI providers used to power caption, content, or image generation features
Some providers store or process information outside Australia (including in the United States or Europe). By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred overseas. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances so that overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs, where APP 8 applies.
Your use of connected social platforms is also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for how those platforms handle data once content or credentials are shared with them at your direction.
5. Google API user data (Limited Use)
When you connect YouTube (or another Google service) to the Service, we access Google user data only through official Google APIs, only after you grant permission on Google's OAuth consent screen, and only to provide the features you asked for.
Data access
Depending on the scopes you approve, we may access: your Google account name and email; YouTube channel identity (channel id, title, thumbnail); and video metadata needed to upload, schedule, list, or manage videos on the connected channel (for example title, description, privacy status, and upload status).
Data use
We use this data solely to connect your channel, display the connected account in your dashboard, upload and schedule videos you create in the Service, and show status of those posts. We do not use Google user data for advertising, lending, credit decisions, or unrelated analytics products.
Data transfer
We do not sell Google user data. We do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. It is processed by our hosting and application infrastructure only as needed to run the Service. Content you choose to publish is sent to YouTube at your direction.
Data protection
OAuth tokens and related credentials are stored with access controls appropriate to the Service. We do not store your Google password.
Data retention and deletion
We keep Google tokens and channel identifiers while the account stays connected. If you disconnect YouTube in the Service, or ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify that Google data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain records by law.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalised AI/ML models. We do not transfer Google user data to third-party AI services for model training.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the checkout funnel to work, and — where configured — analytics / advertising cookies (including Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect checkout, login, or analytics accuracy.
7. How we store and protect your data
We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain it by law or for legitimate business records (for example payment history).
9. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act (where it applies), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Make a complaint about how we handle your personal information
To exercise these rights, email hello@ursocials.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
